Western Australia the State of Excitement

The World's Last Frontier

West Australia is one of the world's last frontiers. It is wild, it is beautiful and a land of contrasts. It is one of the most exciting places on earth. Here you can enjoy your own beach, forest, gorge, or tropical pool without another person for hundreds of miles and not pay a fortune for the privilege.

Covering one third of Australia, it has a number of climates, a long coast line, areas of isolation and is the perfect place for an adventurous or a peaceful holiday. Having visited most areas in Western Australia with varying degrees of success, we have created this site to help others enjoy this land of timeless beauty.
Most Australian travel brochures only promote the major tourist attractions. Western Australia is so big and it has so many attractions it would take years to see it all. A visit to Western Australia will leave you with a never to be forgotten experiences.
Kangaroos, Emus, parrots and unbelievable wild flowers are taken for granted by the locals.
There are great beaches in all coastal towns, with dolphins, coral reefs, whales, great diving and fishing. Whether you want a lazy layback, 3,4 or 5 star hotel style holiday or outback adventure or view a history thousands of years in the making Western Australia has it all. Many tours radiate from major towns to all points of WA.

We have travelled the Gibb River Road, The Outback Highway, the Plenty Highway, part of the top end road, part of the Oodnadatta Track, crossed the Nullabor, the whole coast line of WA, the Stuart Highway, part of the Barkley Highway, into the Daintree, the Great Northern Highway Perth to Port Hedland, the old northern highway Newman to Marble Bar to Port Hedland, Skull Creek Road Nullagine, Karratha to Tom Price (Hammersly Iron Road) the old Wyndham Road (Ivanhoe crossing, Parry's Creek).

We have camped in tents, had an off-road camper trailer and an off road Jayco caravan. We are happy to provide information about any of our experiences.
