About the manual

I have met Bert O'Meagher who has spent hours researching and putting this book together on a number of occassions and he is a true blue legend with a heart of gold. His philosophy is, if his work saves lives he is happy. He has told me he will not copyright his work as that restricts circulation and he is doing his bit for a safer WA.
I publish the work of Bert and the WA Police in the same context and encourage anyone to copy and use this book to save lives in the bush or the wilderness. Bert has tested and proved all the information in the book under West Australian conditions and having been on two of his courses I can say that all the information we used was spot on. Some information is unique to WA but most of it is valuable general information
